We went out in the morning for breakfast and to purchase the ingredients needed to cook the above dish. Unfortunately (or fortunately for her), she bought some stuff which were not on our original shopping list.
Back at her house, she started cooking, only to incite some unwanted interest from her mum. What ensued was a war of words. I, of course, remained oblivious to the verbal abuse raging in the kitchen, preferring instead to focus my attention on her cat and hamster.
The dishes looked nice as usual. She cooked the salmon with some spices and ginger and stuff, while her mum rustled up a soup with vegetables and carrots in it. Salmon cooked in any form is welcome, and I believe all of us relished having our lunch together.
