My poor plants...

These pictures were taken quite sometime back, now, I cannot bear to take anymore photos.
I guessed the Sun changed its position from what I can see throughout the year (seasonal change of position by the rotation of the Earth). This results in no sunlight shining on my table in the morning anymore, and hence, I shifted the plants to my living room in the evening for some sun-basking. Never did I expect my cat to take an interest in chewing up my plants, causing one to be uprooted and the rest suffered damages to the leaves. Another one died, while the rest are dying from partial decomposition of the leaves.

Nice art piece I saw on the road while sitting in the bus

Anyone have an idea where is this art piece located? Keep guessing...

Toad near the road turning into my block

I have not identify this toad/frog yet. It looks like a toad to me.

Nice surroundings...

Too much food! >_<"'

Lunch was well-portioned. Dear dear and I went to PGP to eat because I wanted to try the waffle at "super snacks". We could not find the place initially, therefore we went to eat at the food court. "Ashton's Express" was situated in the food court and we had something herb fish fillet and teriyaki chicken chop from the stall. The something herb fish fillet was nice, although the french fries side dish paled in comparison to the baked potato. The teriyaki chicken chop tasted too salty due to too much sauce, so if next time anyone is thinking of eating this, one may suggest to the stall holder to put less sauce.

After the lunch at the food court, we proceeded for a short walk and stumbled upon the place where I wanted to go. We had a waffle and ice-cream. Dear dear was commenting something about not being able to satisfy my hunger with main course and still have to go for dessert, was reflecting badly on his ability to provide sufficient food for the family next time. That was just his one-sided thoughts, since I did enjoyed my lunch, just craving for dessert only. :p

Perhaps I was unable to soothe his worries earlier and thus this lead to my torture later?

We had dinner at Modesto @ Vivocity, because dear dear have a coupon for free regular pizza. Had I known the size of "regular", had Dear dear remembered the size of the serving, we would not have ordered an additional main course.
The restaurant was nice, with great and prompt service. We started off with bread dipped in olive oil with vinegar, followed by the "regular" pizza. When the pizza was served, both of us were shocked at the size. The above picture was taken after I reached my fullest capacity, the original size was the whole plate, with lots of vegetables on top. I was stunned. The size could be comparable to the large size of Pizza Hut's pizza. Dear dear remarked that I had better eat as much as I could in order not to waste food, and not stop at merely one slice of the pizza.

This was to my dismay, since the rice has not arrive yet at that point in time and to tell the truth, that one slice of pizza fitted perfectly into my stomach (i.e. not hungry anymore). Yet, how could I possibly stop eating because it was a treat from Dear dear and it certainly was not nice to waste so much food.
Second slice was making me full and then came the rice...
The breaking point came as illustrated in the pictures. Of course, the extent was not solely done by me. I was full to the brim that any next bit of food into my mouth will probably make me vomit out everything, thus a full-stop to my dinner. Dear dear was still chomping away, and making me laugh with jokes and funny expressions as well. I was feeling a bit uncomfortable due to laughing on a very full stomach, the food were continuously vibrating along with the abdominal muscle from the laughter.

Such a contrast when Dear dear was very full, his abdomen was still flat and mine was like a 5-months pregnant look. Anyway, he also could not finish the dishes, making me regret that I should have stopped earlier.

I went to toilet immediately after that to release the fluids and felt slightly better. The torture came when I reached home. I went to toilet again to relief the capacity and woke up in the middle of the night to relief more capacity. The process was repeated 5 times. The stomach was just working furiously to clear the load. Although the food was nice, the aftermath was terrible. This would served as a lesson for me, not to be pressurized into eating over my limits. Dear dear was not at fault and I thanked him for the nice dinner. It was simply our mistake in estimating the portion of the food.

Cute bullfrog in front of the lift

I spotted this cute little frog facing the wall. Its colors were nicely blended with the tiles.

Getting greedy

One day when my mom returned from the Popular book fair held at Singapore Expo, she was holding the "i-weekly magazine". I was about to "kop" her magazine when she said she wanted to read it and asked me to read the travel magazines she purchased instead.

I always thought that I only wanted to visit Nara of Japan due to the deer park that Sensei introduced in class... Now that I have read the magazines, I also wished to visit Yosemite National Park in California as well... the place is so beautiful, like those of a fairyland.

Here are some pictures of Yosemite which I saw online that further tempted me into wanting to go to that place:

I also wanted to go Tahiti after reading about the activities one can do there, such as feeding the stingrays and sharks. The scenery is also very beautiful, giving an impression of a carefree paradise. Here are the pictures I found online:

I am really greedy.

Chicken Potatoes Pie

The left picture was taken with the light on and the right was taken without any additional light. I followed my past home-economics recipe and I realized something was amiss - there was no indication of marinating the meat, and neither was there addition of salt when whipping up the ingredients. Won't the pie taste bland then? Hence I tried marinating the meat, but I cannot remember how to, so I roughly added some corn flour, soy light sauce and pepper. After completing the dish, I then realized I could have added some rice wine into the meat... Oh I also modified the recipe by adding mushroom in the contents and a bit of sugar into the mashed potatoes. The dishes turned out to be quite okay even though the potatoes didn't taste a bit sweet... (What a waste of sugar).
